Ready to connect with businesses who can help bring your community project to life? This is where it all begins.
Upload your one-minute video below telling us about your organisation, what you’re trying to achieve, and the specific support you need. Keep it simple – a video taken on your phone works perfectly. Focus on clearly explaining your challenge and how business expertise could make a difference.
The most compelling submissions will be shortlisted for our Collaboration Exchange event on 10th July, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect directly with businesses eager to support your work.
Your one-minute video should clearly explain your project, specific needs, and potential impact. Start with your organisation’s name, briefly describe your challenge, and outline what kind of business expertise would help.
Exactly one minute or less. Videos exceeding this limit may not be considered.
Your video doesn’t need to be professionally produced. A simple smartphone recording with clear audio is perfectly acceptable.
Ideally, someone directly involved with the project who can speak authentically about your needs. This could be staff, volunteers, or community members you serve.
Yes, you can include simple visuals or text to help explain your project, but keep in mind you only have one minute. Focus on clear verbal communication first.
We accept MP4, MOV, or AVI files directly uploaded to our platform, or links to videos hosted on YouTube or Vimeo.
Yes, all videos must be submitted by Monday 7th July at 18:00 GMT.
Submissions will be reviewed by our committee, and shortlisted videos will be featured at the Collaboration Exchange event on 10th July.
Your organisation must be based in or primarily serve Oxfordshire. We welcome submissions from registered charities, community interest companies, social enterprises, and informal community groups.
Projects must be achievable within the timeframe (completed by July 2025). We cannot accept projects requiring substantial funding, those with political campaigning as their primary purpose, or projects that could create conflicts of interest.
Each organisation may submit one distinct project.
You’ll need to provide contact details, your organisation’s status (e.g., registered charity), a brief written summary of your project needs, and confirmation that you have permission to share all content in your video.
Selection criteria include clarity of need, feasibility within the timeframe, match with available B Corp skills, potential community impact, and diversity of project types.
While attending the 10th July event greatly increases your chances of being matched with businesses, we understand this isn’t always possible. Please indicate if you cannot attend when submitting.
Selected projects will receive support from businesses until December 2025. The exact nature and extent of support will depend on the specific needs identified and matches made at the event.
Your one-minute video doesn’t need to be polished or professionally produced. A simple, clear explanation of your project and needs will have the greatest impact. Here’s how to make it work:
Use your smartphone in a well-lit, quiet space. Film horizontally with steady hands (prop against something if needed). Natural daylight gives best results. Speak clearly and at a normal pace
Start with your name and organisation (5-10 seconds). Briefly explain what help you need and why. Highlight the community impact. End with a specific request.
Jot down 3-4 key points before filming. Practice once or twice to stay under one minute. Don't worry about perfection - authenticity matters most
